The dawn of electricity brought upon us the offensive harshness of too-bright a light in desperate need to being hidden and filtered. The bygone days of the fickle flame took away also its radiant warmth. Ever since have we attempted to obscure, hide and filter the light source in an attempt to recapture that primal, original light.

Though filtering the light through wood veneers is not a new practice, it is our belief that the time has come to bring this practice into the modern times, a new dawn.
