Echo One

Echo One was created in response to how darkness is truly experienced in Norway. Not merely as a lack of light, but as a longing for warmth, presence, and a sense of home throughout the long winter.

The name Echo comes from its form: when viewed from above, the lamp body and foot form concentric circles, like an echo moving quietly outward. One marks this as the first official product of Way of Wood, serving as both a flagship and a statement of intent.

In a time when modern lighting is often harsh, constant, and intrusive, Echo One is designed to do the opposite. It emits a gentle, living glow reminiscent of fire, filling a space with a sense of calm, safety, and presence.

Each lamp is made individually to order. Only a very small number will be completed each year, as production follows the rhythm of the work rather than a predetermined quota.

Lead time is approximately two weeks, as all parts are custom-made or specialty-ordered in Oslo.

10-Year LED Strips Guarantee
LED strips are guaranteed for 10 years under normal use. After this period, replacement service will be available at a fee.
