Bespoke home office designed and created for a client. The option to hide the office behind the tambour doors of a slim mid-century modern cabinet allows the duties and the chores of the day to be stoved away for the day. This home office was designed with a foldable leaf extension rigidly supported by two beams that retract under the desk. When folded away the leaf latches behind a spring loaded button that automatically engages. Opening it is as easy as pushing the button and allowing the table to fall out.
The also features integrated lights in the top and a linoleum as the main desktop surface.
